🐾❄️ Waffles’ Snow Day…Featuring a Mini Vet Med Snowman! ❄️🐾

We wanted Waffles to experience the magic of snow, so we brought a snowball inside just for her. Her verdict? A big, frosty NOPE! 🙅‍♀️🐱

But we didn’t stop there! The team got creative and built her a mini vet med snowman—complete with the tiniest touches of veterinary flair. Did Waffles appreciate our snowy masterpiece? Absolutely not. She sniffed it, glared at it, and gave us her patented “this is beneath me” look before storming off.

Guess snow isn’t Waffles’ thing, but hey, at least we had fun! 🐾

Some cats dream of frolicking in the snow… Waffles dreams of tearing apart decorations and tormenting Barkley McSnout. Priorities. 🐱

Before heading back to the North Pole, Barkley McSnout made sure our hardworking Christmas Eve crew felt the holiday magic. 🎅✨ He filled stockings with goodies and organized "The Great Candy Cane Hunt"—hiding 22 candy canes throughout the hospital for staff to find. 🕵️‍♀️🍭

Staff had a blast searching high and low for 22 hidden candy canes scattered throughout the hospital. 🕵️‍♀️🍭 The person who found the most candy canes traded them in for a special holiday prize, adding a bit of festive fun to brighten the workday! 🌟

Thank you to our incredible team for your dedication this holiday season—we couldn’t do it without you! ❤️🐾

🎄🌺 Poinsettias: Festive but Feisty! While these iconic holiday plants add a pop of cheer, they can cause mild irritation to your pets if nibbled. Let’s keep paws and whiskers safe by placing poinsettias out of reach this season! 🐾❤️

Poinsettias are not the deadly flowers that popular legend has made them out to be. This pink, red, or white beauty always makes a strong showing around the holidays. The sap of poinsettias can be irritating to the stomach leading to drooling, vomiting and diarrhea. Keeping this plant out of the reach of your pet to avoid stomach upset is still a good idea, but you need not banish the poinsettia from your home for fear of a fatal exposure.

Barkley McSnout is scrubbing in and showing off his paws-itively impressive surgical skills today! 🩺🐶 After yesterday’s ultrasound, he’s decided his stuffed patient needs a little extra TLC. Don’t worry, this elf is stitching up smiles and spreading holiday cheer one patient at a time! 🎄✨

🌿🎄 Kisses under the mistletoe are sweet, but keeping it away from your pets is even sweeter! Mistletoe may add holiday charm, but it’s toxic to our furry friends. Let’s keep the holidays safe and joyful for everyone! 🐾💚

Puckering up under the mistletoe? Keep it away from your pets. Mistletoe also known as American mistletoe or Phoradendron leucarpum is common decorative plant seen during the holiday season. Mistletoe is consider a toxic plant and best to keep it away from your pet. While small ingestions of berries may lead to mild tummy troubles like vomiting and diarrhea, ingestions of leaves and stems may lead to more significant concerns like depression, tremors and blood diarrhea.
