It is with excitement and a little bittersweetness that I announce that I will no longer be taking any new pet sitting clients. In 2017, I embarked on a new venture as the owner/groomer of Pawzazz Mobile Grooming. Since then, my business has grown so much that I am not able to take on any new pet sitting clients. However, I will continue to serve my existing clients. To all of my human and fur clients that I have cared for over the years, thank you for 12 wonderful years and I look forward to serving your grooming needs in the future. - Denise

Today I retire from my full-time job of 18 years in NYC to become a full-time business owner! Wish me luck! !

Last night I was locked out of the house in these freezing cold temperatures! I yelled and cried for someone to let me in but my family seemed to ignore me. They yelled out the door and told me to shut up! I tried to keep my body temperature up by curling up and tucking in all my extremities but I could feel the frostbite setting into my toes. I cried harder, and still my beloved family paid no mind. I stepped in a wet spot and couldn't move. My feet hurt so bad, I was shaking uncontrollably. Eventually I gave up and my heart rate slowed in the freezing wind. I’m sure they just forgot I was out there, because nobody would let their family member suffer through such a nightmare, right?
Love, confusion, and sadness.
I am the Pet you decided to leave outside to freeze to death.

UPDATE ON ERA!

Era is much brighter and eating/drinking on her own! (We can’t share photos of her wounds as they are still quite intense.)

She’s been placed on additional antibiotics to address her severe bone infections and exposed joints in her foot. Her upper leg wound is healing well but she has a long road ahead of her. Our veterinarian is waiting for her skin to grow over the exposed area or for an opportunity to surgically close it.
