We offer a few options for meeting our cats and kittens:

You can set up an in-person appointment. (recommended)

You can drop by during our regular hours 7 days a week; there may be a wait outside as we are limiting the number of guests in our cattery (Brick House) at one time. Please ring the doorbell and the cattery staff will assist you. Set up a virtual meeting with a few of our cats using facetime. If you’d like to meet some of or more shy cats, this option is a great way to see what their personality is like with our staff! Dog Adoptions
We offer a few options for meeting our dogs:

You can drop in Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, or Wednesday between regular business hours. We are closed to dog adopters on Tuesday and Thursday. Last Saturday, September 21, Pets Alive had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Wallkill Community Day, an event that brought together local residents for a memorable day filled with fun, community bonding, and engaging activities. The air buzzed with excitement as families, friends, and neighbors gathered to celebrate the spirit of togetherness that defines our wonderful community.

We were thrilled to bring along some of our adorable puppies, who quickly became the center of attention. Their playful antics and irresistible charm drew crowds of delighted onlookers. It was heartening to see so many smiles and hear the laughter that our furry friends inspired.

The sense of community pride was undeniable, and it was a true pleasure to be a part of such a special day.

Our rescue partner pulled Mac from a rural shelter where he was at risk for euthanasia.
When they asked us for help in finding him a home we could not refuse.

Sure he is a little shy when you first meet him, but who isn’t ?!?
Mac warms up rather quickly and then it’s all butt wags and sloppy kisses!
Mac would make a great companion for any family, as long as they don’t have kitty’s, he prefers doggy friends!
He loves to play with his toys, walks beautifully on a leash and keeps his kennel tidy !

💫✨ RICOTTA'S ROAD TO RECOVERY Ricotta found herself at Pets Alive in June 2023 after being abandoned. She was an emaciated cat with a serious medical condition that required immediate attention and care. The clip below shows her CT after a mass removal surgery from her inguinal canal last year. Currently, she's being monitored, with regular checkups and various tests conducted to ensure that there are no signs of tumor regrowth. At Pets Alive, we go above and beyond in ensuring that every single one of our rescues, like Ricotta, receives the attention and treatment they deserve. Thanks to your support and contributions to our Animal Care Fund, we've been able to make a difference, by giving them the care they need to recover, thrive, and live their best lives.
