UPDATE A wonderful knowledgeable turtle person has agreed to care for this beautiful girl!
Do you have an extra bathtub at home? This beautiful Red Eared Slider was brought to us last week. She is 35 years old water turtle and will need a bathtub to winter over in. Her elderly owners were not able to care for her any longer. We would like the home to be permanent, but if not, at least a foster for the winter. FAITH has been named by her shelter friends 🐾🐾🐾🐾We have a very special request... For a very special girl... A hospice home. She doesn't have a name and she's in the shelter. A very overcrowded shelter. She had surgery for mammary mass removal, but there are so many in there - the vet only removed the largest. She's a younger girl, approx 5/6 years old and the vet estimates she has about 6mos-1yr left. We want to waste NO TIME on getting her out... Little miss would do best in a home where she just coexists with another dog or is the only, preferably an "only" dog... Children over 12, but no cats please! Are you interested in giving this sweet girl a soft landing for as long as she needs? A family & a name? J & Co Rescue covers all medical & expenses.... Please please share. Foster should be within 2 hrs of Philly
