It appears that my tristripe project is about to start, Albino black pastel het tristripe x Het albino pos- het tristripe is about to lay any day now. Debating whether to send a shed test for tristripe on the female or let it be a surprise at the end and see if she proves out? 😲. This is exciting. An albino black pastel tristripe would be very rewarding!!!

This female 100% Het Albino 66% het tri-stripe paired to an Albino black pastel 100% het tri-stripe . She is a chunky monkey right now wow ultra sound confirms some very large eggs. Fingers crossed hope at least she proves out for tri-stripe.

Switching out my feeding cards so at a glance I can see 3 bits of information #1 when fed date #2 s*x #3 actively breeding males & females or not actively breeding on the inside every meal for the year is noted, phasing out the need for clips. I know it’s old school but it’s worked for me precisely as a large scale bird breeder eventually I plan to enter all the database where I can extrapolate all sorts of information.

After work just checking the collection and see who needs a meal and checked my Sunset Female and noticed she has not Eaten since November 4th so to my surprise she appears bulky and her spine is noticeable. Ultrasound her just to confirm that my eyes aren’t deceiving me. Wow my girl is laying very very soon. The pairing is a leopard clown het sunset X Sunset. I am so excited I paired her back in 7/18/23 and once on November 10th What a surprise.

The genetic results are back and as promised I will share them with everyone. This male is a leopard YB DG A,B,&C HYPO dbl Het Clown Pied and I am wondering should I test his female clutch mate an interesting looking normal?

I have given this 2021 male enough time to get up to wieght and he didn’t disappoint Locked with in a few hours with the black pastel 66% clown and remains locked. I was thinking of sending a shed on her before and didn’t see why, but now I am because of this pairing. If she proves I have hatched a few clowns from a het to het pairing before. Fingers crossed with this one but I will put him to a few like a visual cypress clowns etc…

Baging and taging ASFs for my winter months supply, It’s very time consuming and labor intensive raising ,keeping, feeding a thousand or two ASF and Norwegian rats. So I am switching to frozen thawed feeding to my older snakes and my babies will still get live. I will let everyone know how it works out. I will occasionally still have available some to sell live but prices have gone up like everything else.
