We are starting go harvest from our garden. Cucumbers tomatoes and squash (tromboncino). This squash is so yummy. I sliced 5 cups for dinner and still had squash left for the next night to cut up.

We are starting to plan out fall gardens.

Friends with limited space to grow… check out how much you can grow in just one greenstalk! I love mine. Great for decks or balconies or just an entire patio full of them.

Our first official install!!

We installed 4 raised beds today! Asparagus is planted and so are the raspberries. We will be back in a few weeks to plant the seedlings she has sprouted in the garage!

Can’t wait to see how this looks with the mulch and growing all the food this summer!

What did you do this past weekend when it was beautiful?

and decided to plant out some cool weather starts.

We did not look at the 10 day forecast, we just did it because we wanted to get started. We checked on them today and they are still going strong. Praying the cold temps don’t knock them out but they are very healthy plants we started on Valentine’s Day. Only fitting to plant them on St Patrick’s day. Maybe by Mother’s day they might start feeding us! Stay tuned!

What did you have for dinner? Did your family love it? How much of it could be grown in your backyard?

Tonight we had mashed potatoes, peas, and sweet potato fries and for a snack we had kale and radish chips. loved the chips both kale and radish!

Our kale and broccoli seeds are sprouted and growing strong. But I guess now I know I need to grow radishes, peas and potatoes.

Welcome to The Kight Farm. Some of you have followed us for a few years as just our family growing up. You have watched our chicken antics, the joy of growing our garden, and just the plain craziness of living in the world today.

Well The Kight Farm has something new in the works... we want to help you grow your own food! The garden has been a passion of Russ's for a long time and God finally put it on my heart too and now the kids are finding love in the garden.

No matter where you live, you can grow something and I am excited to now start offering those services.

If you want help starting your garden, I would love to visit with you for a 1 hour consult to look at your space, hear your dream and talk about a way forward. After that I would love to put together a garden plan/design and even help you build it and plant it! Please reach out if you are interested in any of these services!
