Meet Ginger! Ginger is a thoroughbred, aged in her late 20's. Ginger was rescued with a group of 20 horses out of Arkansas. We pulled the 2 worst cases in the herd. (Scarlet & Ginger). Ginger is pretty laid back but she picks her people. She will definitely test you but once she bonds with you, she will be in your pocket. Ginger doesn't stand for the farrier but she tries. (insert toddler tantrum attitude) Ginger is easy to catch but really she just wants you to tell her she's pretty and give her treats. Sadly, Ginger has not had the best 2025. She was diagnosed with Cushings. She is on a daily medication to help but it does cost around $70/month. She is also on more of a special diet to help control her cushings symptoms. Ginger is up for adoption but only as a companion horse. She is not suitable for any type of riding.

Meet Scarlet! Scarlet is a thoroughbred, aged in her late 20's. Scarlet was rescued with a group of 20 horses out of Arkansas. We pulled the 2 worst cases in the herd. (Scarlet & Ginger). Scarlet has had some type of injury to her mouth but we were able to get corrective dental done on her. She had to have a few teeth extracted due to her neglect. Scarlet also had an ulcer in her right eye which required it to be removed in 2025. She is managing great after the removal. It doesn't seem to bother her at all and she has become much calmer so we know it was causing her pain. Scarlet is up for adoption but only as a companion horse. She is not suitable for any type of riding.

Meet Gypsy! Gyspy is aged around 8-10 years old. Gypsy was rescued out of Webb, AL. We were contacted by a local horse lover about a horse that was down in a pasture in need of help. We agreed to take her in and she went straight to the local vet hospital where she spent the next 6 weeks. She has club foot in both front feet. At her initial vet intake, she had MAJOR work done on her severely overgrown hooves. This was done slowly over the course of her 6 weeks in the hospital by a vet. She also had several x-rays to watch her rotation closely. Gypsy is recovering well and we will continue to provide her with the best care for her condition. Sadly, she will never fully recover. We do have a special farrier that comes every 4 weeks to work on her feet under the direction of our vet. She also gets bodywork done after every farrier visit. Gypsy is also on a special diet to make sure she doesn't gain too much more weight. Gypsy also has pads that she has to stand on daily and we have boots for her to wear to also give her some cushion on her front feet. Gypsy would only be adopted out to someone that can continue with her care, which is expensive. She is also limited to a small pasture/dry lot since she isn't able to move around like a normal pony. (Don't worry, she has her little friend, Tinkerbell, with her at all times.)

I think this photo sums up how happy JoJo is in his new home. ❤️ He has been neutered, had a dental, microchipped, and found a home that treats him like the mighty king he is. Thank you to everyone that shared, donated, and applied to adopt. Please consider opening your home to a rescue animal in 2026. They will bring so much joy to your heart. Happy Trails and lots of tail wagging, JoJo. You deserve it!
