After 4 years of successful collaboration and growth, we are excited to share that Jake Fink and John DuBois have made the mutual decision to pursue new ventures separately.

On 9/24/24, K9 OPS Dog Training will be transitioning into two independent companies:

PSA: If you are in public, or anywhere really, and you come across a service dog and their handler. Please, respect their boundaries, and understand that the dog is working, and that could also mean that the dog could be used for a task that could be life saving. So, do not approach the dog or pet the dog.

Tonight we introduced Kali to residential hard surface tracking where she had to work thru numerous distractions such as squirrels, barking dogs, vehicle traffic, and bicyclists. Pretty darn great Kali. Great work!!

This past week Poppy was introduced to recall drills and we also worked a bit more of dog on dog neutrality drills as well as leash work with Patrick assisting us. Outside work coming up!

When you get a dog, regardless if it’s a new puppy, an older dog, or a dog that has been rescued, once the dog has become comfortable in its new home set your dog up for success by enrolling it in one of our obedience programs.
