These two are the softest, kindest personalities we've ever had. They both can be shy with other horses but they both absolutely love people. Just two reallybsweet boys.
As much as I want to hope they will be best friends, it seems like these types tend to gravitate to the more dominant herdmates, probably for protection. So when I do end up combining everyone into a large herd I won't be surprised if Fitz and Spanky aren't attached at the hip. But at least for now while they're little they are good companions for each other and I don't have to worry too much about them getting beat up by the big guys. Poldark and Buckwheat (and most especially Badger) can play rough and get aggressive and be a little too much at times. I get very protective of the little sweet babies. 🥹

This dang problem child of a horse is going to be the end of me. Another vet visit for him today to assess his eye that's been goopy and bothering him. Hopefully we are on the mend now! 🙏🫠
