Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Reins-N-Hands, Inc, a 501(c)3 organization provide leadership and life learning services to at-risk/single parent children through the use of mules and horses. We continued our mission by partnering with Make-A-Wish foundation, Thriving United, Casa of West Texas, Buckner International, Juneteenth, and Rope Youth giving mule and horse rides.

In 2024 we celebrated the purchase of 5 acres north of the Petroleum Museum and began clearing and moving dirt. Through some challenges and temporary setbacks, we are ready to move forward in preparing our location for the successful launching of after-school, weekend programs, and summer camps in 2025.

The coming year will include exciting advancements; including erecting a 80x120 metal building gifted to us by Brett Construction, fencing the property, and building a 150x250 roping and riding arena from Red River Arenas, Coleman, Texas. Lil’ Cowboy mule was so instrumental in the starting of Reins-N-Hands. He willing gave countless rides to children and adults, loved mountain trips, and being a bit ornery at times!! Sad to say he took a long journey Thanksgiving morning…if there is a mule heaven…enjoy the greener pastures!!
