Due to the forecasted storms on Sunday, our jumper show will be moved to this SATURDAY, MARCH 15!

Pre entries are open until tomorrow at noon. Day of entries are accepted. Please reach out ASAP if you have entered and cannot make the new date! For all others, we will see you on Saturday. Gates open at 8am and we will begin with ground poles at 9am. We can’t wait to see all of your festive attire and to kick off a fun season of shows!

We are keeping a close eye on the forecast for Sunday. If the weather looks unfavorable, we will shift our show to this Saturday, March 15. We will make this decision no later than Thursday afternoon, either way, and will announce it here on this page.

If you have already entered and you cannot do Saturday, please let us know prior to Friday at noon (closing of pre-entries) and your entry will be refunded. For everyone else, keep an eye on this page!

Just a reminder that our St. Patrick's Day Jumper Show is Sunday, 3/16. Gates open at 9 am - The entry forms have been updated so don't forget to pre-enter and don't forget to wear green!

We are one month away from our St Patrick’s Day jumper show! Join us on 3/16 to knock off that winter rust and have some fun jumping in a supportive and FUN environment! With classes starting at ground poles, we have something for everyone. We can’t wait to kick off our 2025 season with you!

A sweet sight tonight- a dad and grandpa holding their students’ horses, while the girls helped clear the arena of jumps ahead of the coming snow. We love the families and community that make up our farm family!

Snow and ice are frustrating for riders, especially when they keep us from using the arena, but that doesn’t mean we have to stay inside! We have been using this time to practice our unmounted skills, like polo wrapping, and to get our horses out of the arena by doing flatwork in the fields, riding ba****ck, and enjoying our miles of trails. Our horses benefit immensely from the change in scenery, and it’s a great opportunity to hone our skills riding in the open! What are your favorite things to do when winter weather keeps you out of the arena?

It may be cold, but it sure is pretty! Kaila and Abigail braved the weather for a snowy lesson in the field this afternoon.

Snow day fun! We took advantage of the winter weather and had a great time sledding with the best school horses ever, Hank and Badger. Thanks to everyone who brought sleds and hot cocoa supplies, and to our boarder Kira who captured the memories for us. Cold and snowy weather won’t get us down here at SHF!

Finally- a great day to end our 2024 season! We had so much fun today jumping and celebrating the season, even finishing off with some festive snow. Thanks to all who came out to ride and support, as well as our fabulous show staff and volunteers. Merry Christmas!

We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow for Holiday Jumpers! Don’t forget to dress in your seasonal best. Make It Right Photography will be there to capture all of the memories! We may even have a special prize for the most festive attire…

Following is a very tentative timetable for tomorrow. We expect entry numbers to change, so please plan to arrive early and be patient for our larger classes! Day-of entries are permitted.

Courses and optimum times will be posted at the secretary’s booth and the in-gate. Please help us save paper by taking a photo, if needed. Classes are pinned by closest clean round to optimum time (over OR under). All decisions made by our judge are final.

Please remember that the speed limit on the farm is 10mph for all areas and for all vehicles. We appreciate everyone leaving our trailer parking clean and free of trash, manure, and bedding. Please keep children supervised, dogs leashed, and smiles on faces at all times!

The weather for our Schooling Jumper Show this Sunday 12/15 looks like it will be in the 40's with rain starting in the afternoon. We still plan on having it :) Below I have attached the Prize List. Currently we have the following:
Ground Poles - 7 rounds
Cross Rails - 14 rounds
Supporters 0 - 3 rounds
2' - 22 rounds
2'3" - 3 rounds
2'6" - 2 rounds
2'9" - 0 rounds
3' - 2 rounds
3'3" and 3'6" - 0 rounds
The show starts at 9 and Brock will be grilling burgers and dogs. Hot beverages will be supplied by Newport Bay Farm and Farm Tails 4H. Tell your friends and plan to dress up! It'll be fun!

It’s that time of year again! Get excited for our Holiday Jumper Show next Sunday, December 15! We will start at 9am with ground poles and work our way up as high as requested. Enter early for a discount and don’t forget to wear your seasonal best!

NEW this year: a special class for those who support our competitors throughout the season! Open to parents, significant others, and grooms, this class will be ridden over ground poles and flower boxes, and will run after crossrails, with lead lines optional. Experience is not necessary, but good humor and friendly heckling is required!
