Howl-A-Day Friends & Family, our rescue friends at Few Steps From Home have an emergency medical case and need our help. Please share and donate any amount if you can!

Yuna is urgently getting treated today she has a severe blockage causing her to throw up f***s. Last night was horrible to get her in anywhere for under 8 grand. We obtained sub q fluids to keep her hydrated. This morning TY her awesome foster took her down to Detroit to be treated. The estimated costs will be between $2500-$4000. We are still needing donations as much as possible at this time.

We want everyone to meet our precious baby!

If you know us at Howl-A-Day, you know we are always going to alert you when something may threaten your pet's health. We've been following news on an as-yet-unidentified dog virus that does not yet appear to be in our area. We are posting a link, so that Howl-A-Day Friends & Family can stay educated, and prevent their dogs from getting sick. The headline is alarmist, but there's good info here:

There's no reason to panic at this point, but you SHOULD keep your dog home and away from other animals and have your dog seen by a vet IF they suffer any symptoms listed in this article. IF your dog has immune deficiency issues, or other chronic illness, you SHOULD speak with your vet about the safety of boarding, daycare, or grooming, where other dogs will be present, until more is known about this virus. Let's keep our best friends safe and spread the facts.
