Ummm......could you please turn that light off! Kitty living her best life.
Student of the week is Jamie! There is not another person as dedicated to the process as she is. Tonic is very lucky to have a rider so dedicated to a rehab program. A year ago things looked pretty grim for his future, but with Jamie's dedication she is able to enjoy him from up top again! Job well done.
Mirabella has really grown in her riding this year! She and Abbey doing their first course adding some canter today 🙂
Penny and Kyliegh doing what little girls love the most. Riding ponies and chatting about what little girls chat about 🥰
Taylor is beginning to string together jumps cantering at 2'3"
Hayden is working towards creating a more consistent controlled canter when jumping.
Star student of the week!!!! Sarah has worked very hard to work past some stumbling blocks this past year. She has trusted the process, done her homework and is beginning to believe in her partnership again. I couldn't stop smiling watching her confidence and understanding grow with every jump today 🥰
Terrific Tuesday!! Lucy and Mirabella are looking so good 😁
Look at these two sailing over a 2'3" oxer 🤩💪 and making it look so easy! Taylor and Nemo's partnership is becoming so strong. They are so fun to teach! I can't wait to see them at the next show.
Having a little jumping fun with Alex and Tucker this beautiful morning!
I couldn't be prouder of Hayden!!! She has been practicing everything we do in our lessons with such focus and it is paying off. Tonight was her first time cantering 2'3". I am so excited to be a part of her journey 🤩
Hoke and I also managed our second show! I was so proud of him for surviving the very busy warm up arena to make it into the middle of side by side arenas today. He scored a 67.5 and didn't scream one time while in the arena! 🥈
Lucy May and Teddy took 3rd in their first BN 3-phase! They rocked the water combination like the rockstars they are 🤩
I did something this weekend I haven't done in 18 years....I competed for myself 😁
I chose to do so in the middle of a winter tropical storm, on a 17.3h, 7 yr TB that has never been ridden at a competition, nor against the white boards nor under a covered warm up arena.....because if you're going to start back after 2 decades, Go Big or Go Home 😜 it can only go up from here!
Hoke grew up a little this weekend, performing no where near what he can at home, but he tried really hard to do what he knew he should. (I don't think he took a stride longer than 2" 🤣)We need LOTS more show miles. 1st show done!
It has been a loooong journey to get here. Several false starts, never the right time, not my turn and pushing down severe performance anxiety. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm looking forward to the next one.
Looking great on cross country!
