This is why I started Poly Paws Rescue and Sanctuary, which will focus on disabled and elderly cats. I will also accept normal cats, but the hard-to-adopt kitties have my heart and will be my focus.

Poly Paws Rescue and Sanctuary helps disabled and elderly cats find homes or live out their lives in peace. We do take in healthy cats as we have room for them.

Howdy folks!

I am ssssoooo sorry that this took over a week to wrap up. It's been a long week of new job training, school, and emotional times with bidding farewell to 2 of the 3 remaining Spicy Crew members. But, the logo winner has been chosen!

*drum roll*

And it's logo number 5! Thank you all for voting. I might do some alternate pics using some of the others that I personally liked that pay tribute to my own saving grace, Finch, who is a polydactyl cat (meaning he had more than 5 toes!). We saved each other, and so he was the inspiration for the name of this rescue.

I am changing one tiny aspect of the logo, which is to color in the heart on the hand so that when printed as stickers or t-shirts, it stands out.

So, I present, our logo!

This past Saturday, two of the Spicy Crew found their furr-ever homes! Carolina Reaper and Popper went home with a friend and her partner this past Saturday to join their loving home. I'll miss them, as I have raised them since they were 5 weeks old. But, this is why I do what I do.

We still have one kitten left, Jalapeño, who needs a furr-ever home of her own. If you're interested in a snuggle butt of a kitten with a heart of a fighter, let me know!

This past week the Spicy Crew had a visitor in the form of another kitten making her way from WV to Florida. Sweet Pea, now known as Raveena/Raven spent the week getting to know Carolina, Jalapeño, and Popper, as well as my two cats, Finch and Amara. She did so well, learning to play with them, but also snuggling up to Finch when she needed a break. She was nothing but love and kisses when not playing! On Saturday, she met her new mommy, my mom, and she immediately purred when she picked her up. She spent one more night in my home, and then Sunday morning, she started the longest leg of her journey, down to southwest Florida. They made it home around 9pm, and she already was at the toys, playing soccer as she batted them around. I'm so happy that I could find the right combo of person and cat for my mom and Ravenna, and I can't wait to post more about her as she grows.

I am so sad to report that at 13 weeks old, Habanero passed away. I don't want to go into details, but she will be the first in a long line as I begin to deal with disabled and elderly cats. But, she will be the guardian, the forever kitten with the silent meow and nothing but love for me and her sisters. I'll see you on the other side, my spicy girl. I love you.

So, I am having a horrible time deciding on a logo. I have a few that I like but I want your help. Please vote on which logo you like best. Please try to vote only once by adding a heart to your favorite logo!

Each picture will have its own separate reply to this thread. Please look through all 7 images before voting. If, at midweek, I see there are clear forerunners, I'll make a new post with just those images and start the voting new.
