Daystar offers lessons starting at $40 for private and trail rides at $50 per hour. Riders are required to wear riding helmets (which we provide) and are not asked to do any riding that are not trained to do. Safety comes first. Rider weight limit is 200 lbs. Daystar uses older horses and some a smaller. Contact us if you are intersted joining us.

Our Story

Daystar offers an all around horseback riding program. Our numhber focus is safety. Riders progress at their own speed and build confidence. With 40 years of experience in training, showing and breeding horses, Annetta loves to share her knowledge and to help horse owners fully enjoy their horses.

Lesson horses have years of experience teaching riders of all ages. Lessons are available for riders 3 years and up. You can learn to pleasure ride or to get into competitive riding such as showing or endurance riding.

Trail riding is one of the fastest growing areas in horseback riding and we can teach you how to camp with your horse and how to be safe on trails.
