Wooden Gate Stables, LLC., is a small family-operated horse boarding facility located in Midland, MI, that opened in 2018. Stephanie and her family are passionate about providing quality care and a stress- and worry-free environment. We offer quality grass hay and Tribute grain (Kalm N EZ or Essential K) twice daily. Our facility includes 10x12 matted stalls that are cleaned daily, an 80' x 160' i

ndoor arena, round pen, grass pastures, groomed trails, enclosed wash rack, locked tack room, & drama free facility. We offer both full care and self-care (you clean your stall) options. We do NOT have a pasture board option. Please contact Stephanie for availability for boarding or barn tours. We are conveniently located near City Forest, Midland County Fairgrounds, and US-10 for easy travel. Horses are turned daily out in small groups. Private turnout may be available but requires an additional monthly fee. We welcome all breeds of horses, all disciplines, and all ages and experience levels! We do not allow stallions due to our liability insurance. In addition to boarding, we offer an equine enrichment program for those with special needs, veterans, and everyday people. 3 of our boarders participated in the MIHA Jr High Equestrian meet this past weekend at the Midland Fairgrounds. Olive and Wally for Bullock Creek, Olivia and Donnie for Bay City Western and Maye and TK for Jefferson. Everyone placed in multiple classes and they improved every ride. Congrations girls!

Time to BRAG about one of very own boarders!

Katie Gingerich and DWR Suddenly Fever “Jasper” had an AMAZING year showing. Katie showed solid youth classes on the Michigan Pinto Circuit and went to Pinto Worlds in Oklahoma. She finished her year as #1 solid youth High Point/All Around, #1 solid youth English, #1 solid youth Halter and #4 solid youth Western. (these are national standings). Way to go Katie and Jasper!

First time being in the Santa Parade. It was super fun but freezing cold. 🥶 All of our horses were rock stars! I don’t know how many times we heard “are those real horses” 🐴 To my support staff 😊 thank you for helping out with the flyers, candy, walking horses, and everything else, couldn’t have done this without you all! 🎅🏻 ❄️

The Wooden Gate Mini’s stopped by for a visit at the Family Fall Festival this past Saturday at Candlestone Assisted Living. Fun, food, and laughter was had by all. Thank you to my wonderful barn crew (Jen, Julie, Laci, and Reagan) for helping me out!
