Good afternoon everyone! Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. It’s been quite busy trying to taking care of Sarah and run Menagerie Grooming Salon LLC. Sarah is doing well and has grown a lot and I will try and post more pictures of her along with returning to posting pictures of some of the pets that have been groomed. Also just wanted to let everyone know that due to some recent no warning cancellations I have had to add a $20 cancellation fee if I am not let know of the cancellation 24 hours ahead of time.

So I’m a bit late posting this as things have been a bit hectic, but I just want everyone to know that William and I have a daughter now! Her name is Sarah Ophelia Smith-Cruz and she was born on 1/13/22 at 4:27pm at 6lbs 13oz and is absolutely beautiful! We brought her home Saturday evening and have just been adjusting to everything. She is eating up a storm and has her first Pediatrician appointment today!
I am still planning on reopening from maternity leave in March 1st.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know that due to how busy it gets around the holidays and the fact that I have been trying to fit as many pets in as possible before maternity leave I am now booked out until after maternity leave. There has also been a slight adjustment and I will now be planning on going on maternity leave starting on January 7th and will be back March 1st. Also I am now taking appointments for after I get back from maternity leave. The first 2 weeks back I will only have partial hours to adjust and then will go back to grooming full time. If anyone has any questions or concerns please let me know. If I am unable to fit your pet in before I go on leave I am so sorry.

Hello everyone! Just wanted to give an update that I am now a little over 24 weeks pregnant! I plan on going on maternity leave starting on January 10th and ending on March 1st, although this plan could change if she decides to come early. Since I am booked out until mid November at the moment and will be going on maternity leave in January I have decided to not take on any new clients until after I get back. I will still be making appointments with all of my current clients and will hopefully be able to groom up until the start of maternity leave. Not taking on new clients will hopefully shorten waiting times for appointments as well. If there are any changes I will make another post to let everyone know.

Hello everyone! Sorry it has been so long since I made a post. Menagerie grooming salon is doing well as a business, I had just been a bit depressed since the incident that happened to me earlier this year. I am doing much better now though. In fact I have some big news to share! I’m pregnant and already 10 weeks along! Due to this I have had to move around a few large dog appointments to days where I can have someone help me lift because my doctor has told me no more lifting dogs over 25lbs for the rest of the pregnancy. After the baby comes I will of course be staying in business, although I will take a short maturity leave, but that shouldn’t be until January if the due date is anything to go by. 😊

Hello everyone! I am posting this to notify everyone that due to emergency surgery I had for an ectopic pregnancy yesterday evening Menagerie grooming salon will be closed from today until the 20th while I recover. I am sorry for the inconvenience. I am in a lot of pain and on pain meds and can barely stand and I really need time to recover. I will be contacting all of my clients who had their pets scheduled for this coming week to reschedule. 💙

Pictures of an adorable and super fluffy Bernese mountain dog who had an appointment Saturday evening. These were taken after his de shedding treatment and sanitary clip... I forgot to get before pictures. He is such a gentle dog, but because of his sheer size I had to get my husband to help me with him.
