We have arrived at Keeneland for round 2

It just won’t stop raining here. I’ve been trying to turn over some ground in a field next to my house so I could sow some alfalfa. It should have been done in October but it’s never been dry enough to get out in the field with a tractor and plow. The horses love the hay we produce. We just sent 9 mares that were in quarantine to Russia on Thursday and sent some of our Millford alfalfa with them!

Thanks to all our new friends. We very much appreciate your showing an interest in Millford Farm. We have a very busy and interesting next couple of weeks coming. The Keeneland yearling sales, the biggest of its kind in the world, begins a week from tomorrow. Friends from all over the world will be in Kentucky including many who have taken advantage of our export quarantine experience. We expect to do an upcoming quarantine to Russia like we have done for any recent years.
