We are Mike & Kelsey Henson and this our journey of creating a chemical free, bee friendly, and sustainable homestead on 4 acres in Midwest City, Oklahoma. We focus on high quality vegetables, herbs, eggs, cut flowers, & raw honey. One day we will be selling at farmers markets and direct to chefs. Our target is Spring 2018. Stay tuned. Stewart Dairy Farm needs to move some cows milk out! They have an over supply right now. If you need milk this week, give Dusty a call at 405-485-3385. The Stewart Farm is in Blanchard right off Hwy 62 and MacArthur Avenue. $5.50 per gallon.

Oklahoma City Council rejects proposal to relax rules on chickens in the city

Ouch. Luckily we are in America's Model City! Thank you Midwest City - Office of the City Manager for being so awesome!

Oklahoma City Council members said they heard from neighborhood and homeowner associations that allowing back-yard chickens was a step they were unprepared to take. The vote was 5-4.
