Guess who’s having some honeymoon time with Penny this weekend?! Our favorite stud Elwood 🤩🥳 Windy Acre Studs
We are so excited to see what gorgeous pups this loveable pair will produce for waiting families!! As long as all goes according to plan we’ll be meeting their babies around the 2nd week of March!😁🩷💙

When your hooman is wrapping Christmas presents but you’re more interested in chasing a random stray fly😄 Juniper is so preeeeetty💜 If all goes according to plan, Penny and Elwood Windy Acre Studs will be providing Juniper with siblings sometime in March! And then we get to match their beautiful babies with y’all!! We are so looking forward to puppies again☺️🥳

We took advantage of the first nice afternoon in over 2 weeks and got out for some sun!😊 Update: Juniper’s results from the OFA board came back at last!! We are happy to report that her hips and elbows are looking good and she has positive prelim results. This means she will officially be our next mama (once she has turned 2), and we will be able to continue our Red Ridge Doodle line from our sweet Penny! Juniper will of course recieve genetic testing as well, but that’s just a formality since both of her parents have such fabulous genes😊 Exciting news for us!☺️💜

Before and after: Juniper was in need of a good trim!😄 Being the energetic country girl that she is, it can be challenging to keep up with longer hair during the summer. So we took her to Kiersten at Brookpark Pet Supply, who gave Juniper a fabulous groom and made fast friends!
Keep up with your Labradoodle’s coat: they’ll thank you and you’ll be glad you did!☺️

Penny got her summer shave and Juniper rolled enthusiastically in a patch of nastiness🤢, so both girls got baths and blowouts. Then the cuteness had to be shared!!😁🩷💜

UPDATE!😄 🐩🐕‍🦺 We’ve not been on our social media much lately, so here’s a little update for y’all!
Both Penny and Juniper are having a simply marvelous summer: going on family hikes, playing in the hose, wrestling in the yard, getting into trouble trying to explore the neighbor’s yard... All the good stuff😆
We let Penny’s most recent heat pass without a breeding, as we are giving her the summer to just enjoy being spoiled and loved on🥰 We are expecting that our next litter of puppies (from another wonderful Penny&Elwood pairing) will likely be born in February and be ready to go home sometime in April. So if you’re on our waitlist for our next litter that gives you an idea of timing!😁
Juniper has been working hard on learning her manners, playing with the little people of the house, and bugging her mama😄 She went in just this week to get her xrays on hips and elbows, so we are excited to see what the OFA will have to say in the next month or so.

Juniper traveled all the way to MI to visit her brother Frank (baby Captain). They didn’t remember each other but got reacquainted quickly and promptly wore themselves out wrestling and running incessantly. Also getting each other into lots of trouble😆💜💙 Thanks for letting us visit, Frankie!

Juniper and Penny had friends over last week for a few days: I missed getting a new pic of Penny and her bestie, but Juniper and her pal alternated wearing each other out playing and napping in whatever room I happened to be working💕😄
