Golden Hour 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

These golden babes are just a couple of our regular clients. Golden retrievers have a double coat which means they do not get shaved like a poodle or a shihtzu does. However, some owners like the look of the puppy cut (see pic #6) better than the more natural look. Is this case, we will shave just the ends of the fur off being careful not to cut into the undercoat. We will also scissor off the extra furnishings to give the dog more of a young puppy look. Not all goldens with a puppy cut will look as perfect and round as Mr Beau. His fur is VERY thick which makes it stand up nicely. Most goldens that come in will look best with the natural ‘golden trim’. But no matter the dog or coat type, we are dedicated to finding the perfect trim for your pupper ♥️
