I have quit a few roosters I would like to find new flocks for. I don’t want to put them in the freezer due to them being nice roosters, expect for the candy corn. He has a hard time seeing and will attack sometimes. It’s very random. I just have way too many for my hens.

What I have:

🐓 1 candy corn
🐓 3 old English bantams
🐓 6-8 barnyard mix (Mohawks are part candy corn, and the two big buff guys are from my Cochin)

Checking the fertility rate on my old English bantam chickens. 11 eggs went under this broody hen. Will have chicks 🐥 up for grabs hopefully soon!

Our rescue was able to get 12 kitties fixed today!

We are able to spay and neuter 12 kitties today! Thank you to the people that work so hard to help us keep doing what we love! Without this teamwork we wouldn’t be able to accomplish helping these kitties and humans!

One of my favorite chores is refilling the water for the ducks everyday. The simple joy they get when the water flows gives me such serotonin. I could watch them all day long playing in puddles 🥰

We have a total of 27 new quail hatched today! Wow are these little ones so tiny! I put a quarter in the brooder with them, so you could see!

We still have some eggs in the incubator and hoping them ones will hatch in the next few days also 🤞🏼

We have big news again!!! We are introducing coturnix quail to Roxanne’s Heavenly Acres! We are so excited for this adventure and can’t wait for you guys to try something new! We have 4 chicks now and 47 eggs in the incubator! They are not all guaranteed to hatch and the amazing people gave me a few extra eggs 🥰
