Fieldstone Kennels Fieldstone Kennels specializes in breeding English Chocolate Labrador Retrievers. All of our puppies derive from registered AKC parents.

Fieldstone Kennels is located in a small rural town in Central Minnesota, nestled in close to the Rum River. Our labs have the freedom to enjoy our country setting, with all the wonderful benefits of nature; ponds, trees and wildlife. Our primary goal is to produce English Labrador’s with correct conformation, sound body, calm temperament, natural retrieving ability and free from genetic problems.

When our puppies are ready to go to their fur-ever homes, they are:
• Up-to-Date on vaccinations and deworming
• Vet checked - all puppies have passed their health & physical examinations
• Dew Claws Removed
• Been socialized with other pups, dogs, cats, children and adults

I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much we adore the puppy we got from you in October—Sierra has completely stolen our hearts! She’s such a wonderful addition to our little family, we had professional photos taken of her and they turned out absolutely beautiful—she's such an angel!

Thank you for everything you do and for giving us the opportunity to bring her into our lives. We are so grateful and couldn’t imagine life without her.

Earlier this year we had the great pleasure of having one of our puppies get selected to be a search and rescue dog (SAR).

At 6-weeks old his new owner, a K9 SAR lead, along with his teammate from the Police Department, and an individual from the Border Patrol came to the kennel for some pretty intense testing, and Ollie passed! So off he was a few weeks later to his new home and started training, pretty much immediately, to create his career as a search and rescue dog.

I would like to share some of the comments from Ollie’s best friend Bob. (leaving out town and county names)

Dear Tammy - just got back from training with the County Sheriff and Fire and Rescue Team with Ollie. Ok - I am here to brag my boy up!

We did a 1/3 mile trail through deer beds, 3 terrain changes (grass, high prairie grass and gravel) to his find. It was one of the most spectacular runs I have done with one of my partners-ever! He is a special boy.

We have our showcase with all the fire and rescue teams in NE Wisconsin next month and I think Ollie will be our exhibition dog. Hate to say it but he is close to surpassing Toby - my main trailing dog -- at 7 months!!!!

Ollie is heading back for more high-level training with the Border Patrol next month then a full week of training in northern Wisconsin in October. He is having a blast!

I don't know how to thank you enough. I have shared your name with everyone who will listen. He is special and will do great things!

Soooo, he is a busy boy - loves cuddling on the couch and following his brother and sister around the woods and by the lake. He is awesome!

A couple updates as of Today:
Ollie was asked by the County Sherriff's Department to participate on MERT (Missing and Endangered Rescue Team) deployment testing this past September. Excited - real life police situational test.

Ollie has been certified by the American Mantrailing, Police and Working Dog Association (AMPWDA) as a Trailing dog. An unbelievable accomplishment for a 9-month-old dog.

He is also going to try to certify through LETS (Law Enforcement Training Specialists) after the first of the year… though he could pass their requirements now. He is that good.

We just wanted to take this time to brag up this awesome BOY!
