First time I met this boy he was so overwhelmed that I was there, he cycled through crying, barking, neurotically licking me, nibbling my hands, and feriousiously happy hugging my leg for the entire hour I was talking with his family. The families main concern was that he would run the fence with the neighbor dogs and be incapable of being stopped or recalled.
After doing all our ground work, we were going to do our first session directly working on the issue today, but when the neighbors let their dogs out Max had no interest in them. Instead he opted to request some pets and a snuggle from me, which I was happy to oblige. Look how relaxed he is!
We still have some work to go, but his mom and him are putting in the work and making significant progress! So very proud and excited for these guys!
I love seeing how much confidence this boy has gained! His mom is putting in so much hard work and it's paying off in big ways! 🥳
So proud of Rico! He's coming a long way and gaining so much confidence! He was out exploring and checking things out without being velcroed to his mom and sister!
Having some fun and building confident puppies!
2nd day of Reactivity training with Louie! He and his mother did so well!
Just sitting, observing, and practicing calm down at the farmer's market. This handsome boy is still looking for a family. He'll do best as an only dog. Please help us find him a home 🙏
Monitoring the temperature of the pavement so ClaireBears lil feet don't get too toasty while working with Ocho this morning.
The Tilly Taps are just the cutest thing ❤️
Tito showing me there is such thing as too excited to see the e-collar 🤣 This boy loves to train!
This boy is so much fun to work with!
Remember as the temperature continues to rise to watch for signs your pups are getting over heated!
Miss Tina pushing through her nervousness and conquering mount picnic table 💪
Raising confident dogs, means they'll occasionally give you a heart attack when they dissappear over a sea wall to go swimming 🤣 Look at that athletic boy showing off his mountain climbing skills!
Vinney's eye sight and athleticism are both failing him, so we've reached the point of needing car stairs. Vinney knows how to use stairs, but these are new and strange to him so we have to go nice and slow and teach him how to use this set in this manner.
Started training with this handsome good boy today. He's been to several other trainers that weren't the right fit for him and his mom, but I confident we're gonna be the last trainer they need!
Such a beautiful day for training in the park!
