We took a break from holiday baking to make our first dog birthday cake! We decided to do the cake as a nod to our bestselling treat, and we baked a maple/bacon/peanut butter cake topped with bacon crumbles and sprinkles. Besides rendering our own bacon fat for the cake, we also handmade the colored sprinkles with all our powdered superfoods for it to be free from food dyes just like our treats.
