"Save This Life" Microchip Company Abrupt Closure ‼️

Earlier this week, Save This Life , a Texas-based microchip company, closed their doors causing concerns for many pet owners. The company was also removed from the "AAHA Microchip Registry Lookup", a popular microchip recovery tool for missing and found pets.

If your pet was microchipped at Milan Area Animal Hospital you have nothing to worry about! Your pets are registered with Home Again Pet Recovery.

If you know your pet was chipped and registered with Save This Life, you can register the number with another company!

Buddy ID is temporally offering FREE registration for pet owners impacted by the Save This Life closure. Additionally, AKC ReUnite is offering $5 per pet to register for pet owners impacted until April 1st, 2025.

Unsure if your pet was chipped with Save This Life? Call us today to schedule a time to have your pets microchip scanned. We will be able to determine if your pet received a Save This Life microchip.
