I completely forgot about this video my wonderful friends at Melissa’s Happy Dogs took for me a while ago. You should’ve seen the amount of cameras they had getting all the right footage of my girl.
These are always my favorite videos to post because I love working with my Mausi. We still have loads of work to do calming her bite and keeping her straight, but god I love throwing that sleeve on.
Not to mention the amount of work I need to do to get better as a helper/decoy.
Huge thanks to everyone who helped me get to where I am. I know I’m not always a joy, but this is truly where I want to spend my life. Thank you for tolerating me and teaching me regardless of my good and bad days.

Finally!
We made it to Kansas and have settled- mostly- we still have some kinks were working through. The dogs couldn’t be happier about their lives on the lake. Thankfully these kids are off leash trained and have the ability to do fun stuff like this. Can’t wait to see what this new adventure brings for us.

I am so amazingly proud of this little girl for working her tail off for me. She’s come so far in her first year of life. I am so thankful to have been given all of the opportunities I’ve been given to learn this amazing sport. I give all my thanks to those who have taught me along the way- even if it was for a few short moments. I will forever be better for it. Thank you to my amazing friends for the pictures and endless encouragement.
Most importantly: Thank you to my endlessly supportive husband, Jeremiah. Through everything, you’ve always been my rock when I needed stability, and you’ve always been my pillow when I needed a soft place to land. Thank you for not letting me give up and encouraging me every single day to be better than I was the day before. Thank you for giving me the courage to persevere through all things. Thank you for not allowing me to fall into the deepest recesses of depression. Thank you for the countless hours you’ve put into training with me when you have no idea what to do and I’m yelling directions that you can barely hear. Thank you for just being amazing.

👏🏻Training is important!
Socialization is important!
Telling your dog “No,” is important!
Giving your dog RULES is important!
Understand your breed and breed traits- even if it’s a rescue. All behaviors are not learned, some are bred and fostered over hundreds or even thousands of years.👏🏻

Hey everyone!

I’ve decided to start promoting the work that I’m doing here in AL. I’m pretty new to the world of dog training, but have worked my butt off to get where I am and the knowledge base that i have. I currently work with a fantastic team at Melissa’s Happy Dogs, but my background is primarily is German Shepherds, Dutch Shepherds, and Belgian Malinois. I studied IPO/IGP under some of the best trainers in Germany, and have even been privileged enough to catch some of their dogs on a sleeve. My family consists of myself and my husband and our two dogs, Darios and Cersei. Darios is a Showline GSD from western Germany. He’s a giant cat and you’ll see him hanging around off leash a lot. Cersei is an xHerder from Holland. In short terms, she’s a Dutch Shepherd who doesn’t miss a BEAT. I’m grateful to be where I am. I’m grateful for how I got here, and I’m extremely grateful for the opportunities I’ve received along the way.
