You just never know what will happen with a little time. Teddy had back surgery in May of 2024. He participated in rehab therapy and acupuncture for several months but did not progress to walking as we had hoped. In the Summer of 2024 Teddy got his cart from Eddies Wheels and zoomed off to independence. We have kept up with Teddy through monthly acupuncture sessions. Yesterday this wonder boy walked ( or wobbled) his way into rehab land all by himself. He is still needing a lot of help with things but is heading in the right direction of healing.

It’s Friday morning (yay!!!) and we are getting ourselves together to start another wonderful day at Camp Haven Lake. Addie is part of our set up crew today. She has only a couple of teeth and a growth deformity that shortened her lower jaw. This hasn’t stopped her from enjoying some yummy banana bites with one of our staff. #chihuahua , #ilovefood, #havenlakeanimalhospital

Soooo…Lola is a young golden who has been in our rehab program for several weeks after having surgery on both of her knees. She has this quirky habit of sticking her nose in the water and blowing bubbles. Such a funny girl! #quirkydog, #dogbubbles, #rehabilitationcenterathavenlake, #havenlakeanimalhospital

Word of mouth is out that we have an amazing Exotics Dr. working with us. This little fella showed up today with no owner or appointment. Not to worry our very own snake whisper Sam took good care of him.
