Zakai has the most wonderful disposition. Currently he is being ppst it noted by our eleven year old,, as he is doing his homeschool. He is extremely patient and wants to be cuddled. He warm up fairly quickly to strangers, which is unusual with this breed. I'm so glad to be able to breed him and further these traits in our puppies.

Tonight I was able to catch Aurora being mouthy, and we couldn't figure out what her issue was because her favorite kennel was open, well, she decided she wanted the other one. There was a toy cow in the first kennels bed floor. Maybe bot so comfortable to lay on.

It is looking like Aurora's next cycle may be in February if we time from her last one, we will be breeding her. And should have a litter born in April. If all goes well, we are also going to be looking at adding another female to our program. Big plans ahead!!!!

I'm so glad we kennel train. It gives these dogs their own space, and keeps them safe when we aren't home. Their issue with it....they fight over the first one. Twice now Zaki has decided he doesn't care if Aurora is already lying in here, he pushes his way in, and she just looks at us outraged. Sometimes she comes over and complains when she feels Zaki has enough time in the front kennel and we need to make him leave.

It is hunting season around here, and I am thinking Aurora is telling us she needs to learn who she is, not just a super sweet amazingly well behaved poodle, but the hunter that she was bred for.

Charlie was one of our pups who made it to Pennsylvania. He is a pup in a nail salon. His mom told us he is doing awesome and all the customers love him.

One of the things we love as our pups grow up is the puppdates! All our puppies are doing amazing, healthy and smart. This is our little girl Cocoa. She is growing up and just got a fresh grooming. She is being a good pup for her owners.

Been very quiet around here without puppies. Aurora went through a heat cycle, so we are waiting to see when her next one comes up, which should be about 5 months now. We will decide if we are breeding again. Honestly the economy is going to dictate this more than anything else.

Ninja came back for a month while his parents visit their home country. I was chomping at the bit to get his face into poodle status. I asked if they would mind me grooming him.

Charlie loves this game, though not sure anyone else thinks it's great. Today his momma was drinking water and he walked over and flipped the bowl leaving a huge puddle of water. She immediately growled and launched after him and the fun was on. As soon as it was over, he attempted it again, running to his bed and seeing if anyone had give chase. We may have finally found a home for this clown, so I warned them about his enjoyment for spilling water to create games. Next week he should be leaving us to go to Pennsylvania to be near his sister. So many have shown intrest in him, but here his is still, so when we are driving, I will know for sure he has his forever home. :-)

Charlie went to the vet today for a health assessment. He passed with flying colors. He's coming up on 5 months and our straggler. This is something we will do with all.of our future litters just to guarantee health.
