I couldn't take it anymore..and Ely hates the clippers anywhere near her face. So we came to a truce today. I will scissor her face and I can almost get to a clean poodle face. No more beard! No more unruly doodle face. No more venison for drive by shaves....one day maybe we will get to where she trusts those clippers, but for now I'll take that she allows me to scissor her face. (If only she knew how much slower and time.consuming this is....)

I ordered new buttons for Elysium...today she put two word together. I wasn't sure if she meant it, but it was "help, potty" so I tapped the words, and she touched my hand which is her way of telling me yes, I put her outside and she did her business. I need to expand her vocabulary.

This morning Aurora woke me up by whining at my bedroom door...why is this unusual? There is usually a baby gate keeping them in a smaller area of the house, so they cant access parts of it. Walk out to see Elysium pouting that she couldn't jump the puppy fence that we are using because we have some repairs to make to the house. Aurora was so proud of herself, she was actually smiling. (We are still waiting for her to go into heat...😒)

We have been working on sensitivity training wirh Ely. She hates the clippers by her face and I have no idea why. She does great everywhere else. So we cooked up venison the other day, and I left a lot for this exercise. She is currently asking to do more with the clippers so she can have her prize.
