This week in October is Vet Tech week and although we have been doing small things in honor of vet week all week in hospital we would like to take a moment to really recognize our outstanding team. Without these guys our every day would not be possible, as clear as it is on these pictures we hope you can see how much they love pets, how much they love your pets. Thank you guys for all your hard work , we need you , our clients need you and the pets definitely need you. Please take a moment to say thank you to these phenomal people that make our days flow with ease and are the true force behind every veterinary hospital. We rescued 3 gorgeous lab puppies today . They are 10 weeks old and will be ready to go home Friday. The are gorgeous healthy babies. We will be starting visits adoptions on Friday. There is one female and 2 males - the black is a male. Puppies will come with all vaccines boosters rechecks included, microchip f***l deworming. 🎉Reunited 🎉 Louise was spotted yesterday all day at the racebrook country club. The club member went on Facebook and saw our post and called the owner. Then she was there this morning on the golf course chasing geese. Owners went over there to see if they could kindly get her, but she ran away. The Son found her in the pricker bushes and went in and got her. Welcome home🐾❤️

We have some very exciting news to share. This week we welcomed Dr. Sofia to Animal Clinic of Milford.

Dr. Sofia earned her doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the National University in her home country of Costa Rica. Following her studies, she completed an externship in Wildlife Medicine and Conservation at rescue and rehabilitation centers in Minnesota.

Her desire to continue growing as a veterinarian and her love of other cultures has led her around the world. Over the years, she has lived in South Africa, Egypt and Germany, working with organizations serving local communities at each stop.

She now calls Connecticut home, where she lives with her husband and a growing number of cats. In her free time, she loves exploring the outdoors, discovering plant-based restaurants and visiting Costa Rica every chance she gets.

Meet Sammy named after a good Sam that brought this 3 month old chihuahua pup to an emergency hospital in North Carolina after witnessing him being tossed out of a vehicle . Sam suffered a hind leg growth plate fracture and will need surgery. We got a call at the end of last week from the hospital in NC asking us if we could take this little sweet guy on. Sam will have surgery hopefully by the end of the week. We are looking for a forever home for Sam where he can recover from his surgery then go on to be the best little 4 lb puppy that he is. These gorgeous 8/9 month old sisters are coming Saturday. Meet Catalina, Cadence and Carmen mixed breed girls about 40lbs at this time. Adopted This tiny baby girl knows all her commands. She realonda to hand commands even though she is either deaf or hard of hearing. She is one year old and good with everyone. She would like a home with a fenced yard, invisible should be ok. She loves kids and adults and dogs. She is high energy but only weighs 16 lbs.
