I love the *crunch* ~Fringe, enjoying his palm bowl toy
Since Winterberry is a tripod bunny (missing her back right leg) she's unable to clean her right ear on her own. Veterinarian Dr. Deb examined her ear and was able to remove the wax buildup using just the ear cone. #LateBloomerClub
If your bunny is shaking their head a lot or constantly scratching at their ear, it's a sign they need to visit a vet for an ear check -- the two most common causes are wax buildup or ear mites, both very easiliy treatable when caught early. Your bunny will thank you, itchy ears are so uncomfortable!
Brothers Moonberry and Sweetberry munch on their daily pellets. Nice brothers available for adoption.
Please welcome tiny little girl Sadie, a medical needs rescue. She arrived with bad urine scald on her underside (will be shaved), dirty and impacted anal glands, and an eye injury. She's on pain meds to tide her over til she sees a vet this afternoon, then we'll know more about her situation and what she needs. Sadie is very quiet and still so we know she's not feeling well.
* we are urgently seeking experienced foster homes. Bunnies like Sadie thrive with extra love and focused attention. See comment for foster link.
Muffet 3 is a teen boy so he has a lot of yaya's to get out of his system -- but for tired humans he's exhausting to even watch! M3's one of those smarty pants teens with plenty of energy who'd well in a house filled with action he can be a part of. We'd love to see him in a forever home or foster home where he can run, run, run to his hearts content.
That parsley looks delicious, mind if I have a taste? ~Zamboni

Stanley
Stanley chows down on romaine -- super sweet guy who *loves* attention and pets, soaking it all up when people say nice thngs to him. Stanley arrived just before xmas with serious back injuries. He's still on strict cage rest lined with soft fleece to give him the best chance to heal.
Please welcome Yuki who recently arrived from the San Jose, CA area. Yuki was fending for herself outside, living with a feral cat colony and doing what she needed to do to survive -- like eating cat food, which is awful for bunnies. As you can see, her fur is terribly stained (but will grow out) and the look in her eyes is sad and a little lost.
Yuki's slowly learning how to bunny. It took her a few days to figure out vegetables are good to eat and is gradually learning humans can be nice to her. She could really use a foster home to spoil her with kindness for a few weeks as she adjusts to the comforts of indoor living. https://saveabunny.org/adopt-help/adoption-and-foster-application/
SaveABunny is located in Mill Valley (Bay Area), California.
Yoga shows off his perfect pearly white teeth -- a nice young boy available for adoption.
Speaking of teeth -- dental issues are one of the most common problems in rabbits as their teeth continue growing throughout their lives. The best way to keep them healthy is hay, hay, hay! High quality, long strand hay helps naturally file their teeth down.
Here are some signs that you need schedule a vet visit for a tooth exam:
-- Being more selective about food (favoring soft over hard food)
-- Dropping food out of the mouth (tries to eat but dropping some)
-- Eye discharge, nasal discharge, drooling
-- Loss of appetite or weight (although there're many causes for this)
Love Letter (boy, tan spots) and Marshmallow (girl, dark spots) are a quiet pair who love each other very much. They were adopted a few years ago then recently came back to SaveABunny after their human moved out of the country and was unable to take them. They're fixed, vaccinated and ready to bring their calming, gentle energy to a new home.
Herman just arrived after being found at a dump site. He had a vet check and has multiple medical issues that will require surgery, including several big abscesses around his neck. For right now he's on pain meds while we coordinate next steps.
Why didn't you tell me it's President's Day? Better tidy up. ~President Boops
President Boops is a handsome older guy currently being treated for nasal discharge (you can hear sneeze in the vid). His tooth incisors were very crooked and have been removed so the good thing is that although he can eat hay, pellets, and shredded veggies, he cannot chew on furniture legs or baseboards. Vote to adopt him to lead your household!
