Meet Xena! Although she's a senior, this social butterfly doesn't let her age stop her from living her best life.

Here are a few notes from her foster:

"Xena is quite energetic when she wants to be. I think when she first came to me, she was still getting over her procedure. Since the last update she has been a champ in her cone and has been bounding up/down the stairs. When she came to work with me, she was so happy and a social butterfly wanting to say hello to everyone. I brought her toy with me and we played fetch in the office for a bit. That cone has nothing on her.

She is housed trained and enjoys her short walks. She will definitely let you know when she is done and wants to go home. When I do leave her home, she will let out a few quiet barks and will eventually settle down (based on what I what I see on my animal camera). She has not taken any interest in my birds which is great."

Happy Halloween!

We're ending our five days of black cats with two more kitties from The Amanda Foundation.

Tostito and Cheeto are sisters from the same litter. We posted about their mama, Ruffles, on Sunday, and she's still looking for the perfect pet parents!

These two sweethearts would love to go home with each other. After all, kittens are best in pairs! Both Cheeto and Tostito are spayed, vaccinated, and eager to find their forever home.

Introducing: Lazer! This sweet girl is up for adoption through Front Street Animal Shelter and would be a perfect family dog.

Here's what her volunteer had to say about their doggie day out:

"
Lazer is a very good girl! She's a little apprehensive at first but warms up quickly. She jumped in the car right away and enjoyed the ride with windows down. Definitely had leash training because she heels and doesn't pull or jump and is very easy to walk. I would consider her a low to moderate energy dog that would be more playful if given a chance to decompress. We walked around the park then had a picnic lunch. She was so sweet sitting on the blanket next to me and people watched for a while. She wasn't reactive to nearby dogs or squirrels but did become anxious when the park became more crowded. Lazer is such a love and would be a great family dog."
