It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the tragic fire that took the life of Chris Arsenault, the founder of Happy Cat Sanctuary in New York. Chris dedicated his life to rescuing and caring for countless cats in need, providing them with love, safety, and a second chance. His compassion and selflessness touched so many lives, both feline and human.

This heartbreaking loss has also left many of the sanctuary’s beloved cats injured and in need of urgent medical care. Now, more than ever, they need our help. URGENT: Help Needed for Injured Cat’s Emergency Care

This morning, a sweet kitty named DT was attacked by a neighbor’s dog, suffering a severe bite wound that exposed muscle. He was rushed to the vet with no way to pay, but thankfully, Sandersville Veterinary Clinic agreed to treat him. DT is receiving sedation, stitches, antibiotics, and overnight observation, but his family now has 24 hours to raise $160 for his care.
