We here at 4 Paws are here to help you have a well balanced relationship between you and your companion working as a team not just a dog and an owner.

We offer AKC Canine Good Citizen, AKC Star Puppy, AKC Canine Urban Citizen Certifications. Welcome to 4 Paws Dog Training, my name is Melissa Boughman I am the owner and trainer of 4 Paws. My passion for dogs and their training started at the young age of 9, through our 4-H Program here in Holmes County. We are a smaller business so we can offer our personalized programs for our customers. We are

open in the evening for training classes by appointments. We have currently decided that we will no longer offer boarding at this time. We

4 Paws is open 24/7 via phone, messenger, email and Facebook for other optional times. We strive to provide the best customer service in the area along with the best possible training we can help you with.

There is nothing I love more than offering dog training classes. I can have the worse day ever but as soon as that first dog walks through the door all my troubles and worries are gone and I have an instant calmness. My heart is so happy! Can I just have a full time job working with dogs daily!! I would never have a care in the world!!

I am super excited that it is that time of the year again and we are going to be doing our Sponsor a student. Last year I was shooting for a goal of 50 and we ended with 68 so this year let's pick up the game and go for a goal of 100 students.
100% of the proceeds from this will go towards filling each pouch with supplies!
All sponsorships need to be claimed by 7/12 and payment by 7/15.
Please reach out and help me make this the best fundraiser to date.

Any of my business friends out there that are looking to help give back to the community this is a great opportunity.

Welcome to 4 Paws Dog Training and Boarding. Let me introduce myself, my name is Melissa Boughman and I am the owner and operartor/trainer here at 4 Paws. Dogs have been my passion since I was very young. We at 4 Paws are here to help you and your family have a well balanced and behaved companion by your side.

I have have been working with dogs for many years. Myself along with my son Travett has raised and trained puppies for Pilot Dogs Inc. of Columbus for guide dogs for the blind. I am a certified Canine Trainer/Instructor, plus I am an AKC Canine Evaluator. Along with 4 Paws Dog Training and Boarding Melissa is also the Lead Trainer and Volunteer for the Holmes County 4-H Dog Program.

As of October 17, 2020 4 Paws Boutique, LLC officially has opened our Boarding Kennel. As a small Kennel we are able to offer a more home like experience for your dog. We have 3 large suites and 2 small kennels. We are able to offer multi pet families a place to go while out of town. Inside in a climate controlled room with owners on premisis.

Wether you are needing some one on one time with a trainer, want some socialization for your fur kiddo or you are needing a place for your pet to stay while you are away we are here for you. We strive to treat every client as a family member with the love and dedication it takes to get the results you are wanting.
