We know the holidays are approaching and kennel cough can be highly contagious and is notorious for being spread in communal places like boarding, grooming, daycare etc.

Here at Wolf Creek, big things are coming soon to help improve our client communication and client experience. However, we do ask your patience as we get started on this journey together.

In the next few weeks to months, we will be switching over to a new reminder system and client portal. Our goal is to make it as seamless as possible, but we do realize that there may be some instances that may not be ideal.

Our recommendation for this time period is to be sure to call in advance for any product refills or scheduling of annual vaccines. Both of these may be slowed down, have outages, and/or training as we try to get our new program up and running.

Happy first day of Summer! It is time for Summer fun! That means cookouts, vacations and warm summer days!
July 4th is coming up, if you have anxious dogs that hate the fireworks we highly recommend to try a couple of things like adaptil spray, thundershirts, zenidog collars, and happy traveler treats.

Please know these listed products above need to be used leading up to fireworks events, they cannot be done while they are going on. If you know your dog needs more help than this, please contact us.

Having a cookout? No Problem! Your dog can be included in the family meal too! Dogs can enjoy watermelon, strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.
Raw broccoli, carrots,celery all in bite sizes please be cautious!

If you are planning a vacation, look into boarding your pets. Pets at boarding kennels stay on a strict schedule that can help minimize stress levels and make the stay pleasant for your animal. During your pet’s stay, kennel staff diligently watch for issues by monitoring food intake, exercise levels and attitude of your animal. Upon noting any problems, a veterinarian may check out your pet and provide treatment as necessary to resolve the issue.

For staying cool in the hot summer try giving ice/ frozen treats. Freezing a kong with peanut butter is an awesome way to keep dogs cool and entertained. Having plenty of cool water is needed as well. Allowing shade for the dog is also a great way to keep them cool.

This past weekend, Doctor Mary had the privilege to give these two their White Coats. Courtney and Madison will be graduating from Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine next year, in 2024.
