A Good Samaritan found this guy injured on the ground. He has been transported to the Ohio Wildlife Center for veterinary care.

Cute patient of the day: “Percy”! 🐴

This sweet boy had his blood drawn today to test for PPID (otherwise known as equine Cushing’s disease).

Horse’s with PPID can fail to shed out, lose muscle mass, and have an increased risk of laminitis & hoof issues. 🐎

If Percy’s tests come back supportive of PPID, we can treat him with a once daily pill. 💊
