t are wondering where the name Conestoga Oneega Farms comes from here is the explanation. For those of you that do not know our property is bordered on on side by the Conestoga Creek about a quarter mile north of where is joins the Conestoga River. It has also been thought and rumored that in the 1600-1700s out house was a trading post for the Native Americans that live in the area. Oneega is one of the Native America Iroquois words for water. So in an effort to tie all the history of our property together we decided to use, Conestoga Oneega Farms, as the name of the farm in the next step of our journey.
