Update OVBD Abril de Atenas "Mya", In Tooele, UT w/ RJ. Scott.
18weeks old.

We went for a short hike last night and bumped some tweety birds in the thick brush. Mya froze up with all her attention on the birds. She sat in a point for 20-30 seconds before my lab came over and distracted her. Hopefully this weekend we will be able to get her to point at something a little bigger on our chukar hunt. She's a pretty Dang smart dog!!

OVBD Zeus de la Plana of UCEPB Spanish breeding, Passed away today. For his last few days he has struggled to take on weight, and this became the evident outcome. Will miss this gentle guy.

Dam: OVBD Comtessa Rosalita D'Atenas. Chipped and UTD on shots. Whelped 5/24/24 3 Males, 8 Females.
This old world breed is a recent introduction to America, and my 3rd litter of these great hunters of field and forest. A gentle, biddable breed, with a great on/off switch. Non-aggressive by nature, getting along with people and pets. They work the field at a trot or gallop, close to the hunter (50yrds). Their wide webbed, heavy padded feet designed for the sandy mountains of Spain, make for great swimmers. High endurance because of their natural pace. The breed that formed the German Bracco's.
