It's that time of year again! Heartworm disease is a deadly canine and feline disease transmitted by mosquitoes. The good news is that this disease is PREVENTABLE!
We are currently treating several unfortunate animals for heartworm disease so contrary to the misconception that this disease is not common in Colorado, it is real and it is in our community.
Call 970-518-1252 to schedule a heartworm test and get your pet started on prevention ASAP. It could save their life.

In an effort to keep our clients, patients and staff members safe during the expected snow storm, we have made the decision to close the clinic tomorrow and tentatively Monday. Should you need emergency services, names and numbers of local emergency clinics are listed on our website www.millikenanimalclinic.com.
