A year ago, Goose and I started our agility adventure together. A first for both of us.

I remember watching the "big dogs" running through weaves and tunnels, climbing the teeter and dogwalk. I remember wondering if we would ever get there, as every obstacle was a challenge.

His confidence kicked in a few months after we started and things have been getting better and better as the months pass by.

As of today, he has graduated his puppy class and we will be advancing into bigger and better things!

I'm so proud of this boy 🥲
I am proud of his confidence, I am proud of his progression and I am so proud of the bond and trust we have built doing this sport together.
I have one heck of a team mate!

Labor Day weekend 2024 🇺🇸🐾

Baby Dove went on her first camping trip and did wonderful! She's such a good girl.

That's a wrap!

All of the Rain x Scout puppies have flown the nest. 🪺

I'd like to take a moment to say thank you, not only to the new puppy parents of this litter, but to all of our puppy parents of The Rivereed Family.

Our first two litters were born before we bought our own home. At the time, we lived in a Flint rental house and it was exactly what it sounds like. It was small, falling apart and not in the best area. Although we still abided by the Golden Retriever Club of America code of ethics, the litters were great breedings with beautiful pedigrees, and the puppies were clean and well taken care of, it was just not the best situation. I was always so embarrassed to have people over. I was always stressed about what people would think.
Lord knows I tried to clean the house and have everything set as best as I could, but I was just putting lipstick on a pig 🤭

But you know what? You have to start somewhere. You can't keep waiting for the ideal situation if you want to live your dream or meet your goals. So, we had a litter in 2020 and a litter in 2021 in that house.
And we have some of the best puppy parents who supported us and who still keep us updated today.

We bought our house in 2022 and we now have a beautiful home, a piece of land, a daughter, a few more dogs and a solid breeding program. Small and high quality.

So thank you.

Thank you to those who supported us then, thank you to those who support us now and thank you to everyone for trusting us as your breeder.

We are beyond blessed 🩷

🧡Meet Rooster🧡

Rooster is one lucky boy.

He has two 4 legged brothers now, and will have a 2 legged baby sister litterally any day!

We have watched Rooster's 4 legged brothers for a couple years now anytime Mom and Dad need a vacation. Now we get Rooster too!!

I am so excited that we get to remain part of his life! 😍

Rain x Scout 2024

4.5 week puppy play time!

Rain's puppies are 4 weeks old, chowin' on breakfast!

3 week old Rain X Scout babies!

Very excited to show off Reed's progress in Utility! This was not a trial, just a fun match to get us in the ring. He is doing AWESOME! We still have a lot to work on but all of the pieces are there! Good Boy Reed! ❤️

Reed and I participated in Rally together for the first time this weekend. It was really difficult for me going back to healing on leash, as we do all of our obedience off leash these days.. BUT he did amazing recieving a PERFECT score 100/100 earning him first place in class!

The pups LOVE getting some fresh air and burning off some energy!

Two weeks old! Eyes are now open and they are finding their voices! They are now able to get up onto thier feet, although not sturdy yet, their swimming has turned into walking!
