Mama River is a certified pretty girl!

Yesterday we entered Marshbanks Golden Retriever Club CCA event to have River evaluated by 3 conformation judges.

She passed with good scores from all three judges who really seemed to like her and earned her Golden Retriever Club of America CCA title.

River is seven years old and retired now, but as my foundation girl, I was super happy with the scores and the feedback.

This little girl finished her first dock diving season and what a ride it was!

From playing just for fun, to placing at Regionals, to driving 12 hours to Nationals is insane to me.

Dove did not jump her normal distance these last two days, but boy did I asked a lot of her and I am SO beyond proud of her.

I drove her 760 miles, brought her to a huge indoor facility for the first time with multiple pools, a ton of noise and chaos, and made her sleep in a camper with added child chaos. Then, I said "okay now jump!"

She jumped 18'9 and placed 27th out of 108 dogs in her division. At first I was bummed, but realistically, for a baby dog, her first time here, and being extremely overwhelmed.. that's so amazing. The fact that we are even at Nationals is something to be proud of.

She worked hard for me all season, and most importantly, we had so much fun together!

After a 12+ hour drive through the night, we finally made it to Dock Diving Nationals!

Team Reed and Dove are resting up for their big day tomorrow. Goose is here for moral support 🤭

Carol Lawrence and her pup Thistle are at it again! So beyond proud of team Thistle!

"So proud of my girl. Thistle earned her CDX with 3 Open Obedience 1st place wins. She even won High In Trial Non-Otch dogs Saturday with a 198 of 200 score. Thanks sooooo very much to both of my trainers (the best of the best) Patricia Schneiderjohn and Nancy Smith Curtis for all their help and encouragement. I am so grateful to be able to train and have so many supportive friends at a wonderful facility Dog Sports at Kim’s. Thanks also to Rivereed Golden Retrievers for breeding such a sweet, smart pup and Joanne Bockhorn for Vega, sire to my pup."

This weekend our Goose Boy earned his Junior Hunter title!🏅

He passed all four tests this season with flying colors. He is so fun to take up to the line.

We just got the email that Reed was also invited to NADD Nationals!

He did not place at regionals, however, he was in the top 25% in his division which was still enough to get him an invitation.

Reed will be 10 years old in November. I'm excited that our old boy gets to go on another road trip and maybe he will surprise us with a big long jump!

Regional Results..

Our lovely girl Dove won first place Senior Division at the NADD North Central Regionals!

This placement earned her an invite to Nationals.

This was so unexpected and we are so beyond proud of her! 🤩🏅👏

We took a big road trip this weekend for Reed and Dove to compete in distance at the 2025 NADD North Central Regionals in Amana, Iowa.

Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸

Goose and his littermate Tucker were reunited this weekend for a quick swim in Higgins Lake!

It was so fun to see one of our past puppies in person and to get the brothers together again.
