This little girl finished her first dock diving season and what a ride it was!
From playing just for fun, to placing at Regionals, to driving 12 hours to Nationals is insane to me.
Dove did not jump her normal distance these last two days, but boy did I asked a lot of her and I am SO beyond proud of her.
I drove her 760 miles, brought her to a huge indoor facility for the first time with multiple pools, a ton of noise and chaos, and made her sleep in a camper with added child chaos. Then, I said "okay now jump!"
She jumped 18'9 and placed 27th out of 108 dogs in her division. At first I was bummed, but realistically, for a baby dog, her first time here, and being extremely overwhelmed.. that's so amazing. The fact that we are even at Nationals is something to be proud of.
She worked hard for me all season, and most importantly, we had so much fun together!
