George, the brave Jack Russell Terrier who saved five children from a vicious attack by two pit bulls in Manaia, New Zealand. Despite being much smaller than the attacking dogs, George courageously defended the children, barking and rushing at the pit bulls to protect them. He was so severely mauled in the fight that a veterinarian had to put him down due to the extent of his injuries. George's bravery didn't go unnoticed. The New Zealand Society for the Protection of Animals awarded him a bravery medal, and he was also awarded the PDSA Gold Medal by the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals. This medal is considered the animal equivalent of the George Cross, a testament to George's extraordinary act of bravery. They also erected this monument.

Farewell in love . This dog, named Greta, had arrived at the last day of her life at the age of 15 years and ended with a serious illness. The owner took them to the place where they both were happiest together. Her favorite beach. In her last hour, he caressed her fur and gently talked to her, told about her adventures together and how much he loved her, he did not leave her alone until her last breath on this world. This is how loyalty goes to a beloved animal until the end. ❀
Don't forget to send your prayers πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

"Do you know that...? - Old bees don't return to the hive in the evening? They spend the night on flowers, and if they have the chance to see another sunrise, they resume their activity by bringing pollen or nectar to the colony. They do this sensing that the end is near. No bee waits to die in the hive so as not to burden the others. 🐝🐝🐝 - Bees have cold blood like all insects, yet at the colony level, they are a warm mega-organism. 🐝🐝🐝 - There are bees that bring pollen and bees that bring nectar, never will a pollen-collecting bee change its task to bring nectar and vice versa. 🐝🐝🐝 - Although dandelions are yellow, their pollen collected by bees turns orange in the mixing urn with nectar. 🐝🐝🐝 - The record for keeping a bee colony alive during winter was 356 days without them going out for cleansing flights. 🐝🐝🐝 - Bees can be useful to humans even after they have died, as they are used in the form of poultices to treat joint pain. 🐝🐝🐝 - Bees never sleep. Thank you, little bees!!! 🐝❀"

Hi all, Karen here. I board dogs out of my home in Millington, MD. I started doing this in 2006.
I saw the need for alternative choices for dogs. A lot of owners were uneasy about leaving their dogs in a kennel environment just sitting and waiting to get let out.
In my home dogs are not kenneled, unless kenneled at home. Most of my boarders end up sleeping with me.
All dogs need to be updated on vaccinations (proof needed) and must be spayed or neutered by 1 yr old.
If the owner and their Vet are holding off until the dog is older, I may work with that given the situation.
My yard is fenced in dogs are out, on and off all day.
Reasonable rates and slight discount for more than 1 dog per family.
I am located about 20 minutes South off of 301 from Middletown.
All dogs large and small, old and young.
I start getting busy around Spring Break and my busy season continues through September.
Only allowed a certain amount of dogs
at a time. No aggression at all is allowed. Dogs need to be socialized to some point.
Do not hesitate in booking your dates with me. A meet and greet needs to be done before boarding.
There is a non refundable deposit to hold dates, and that deposit goes towards your total bill.
You can contact me through an email at [email protected] or a PM.
Once you reach out I will send my phone number.
Take care and stay safe.
