Thelodar Gerbil Clan

Thelodar Gerbil Clan I am a gerbil enthusiast and occasional breeder. My focus is on breeding and raising friendly, tame pups that make excellent pets.

I am a low volume breeder, with only occasional litters, to ensure that every pup is regularly handled and tame.

Also available for adoption are Minerva and Ginny! These girls are part of the rescue group that Albus, Cedric, and Neville came from. Minerva is the mom and only non-agouti gerbil of the bunch, and Ginny is her daughter. Both are quite active and tend to be out and about a lot. Minerva is the more confident of the pair, but neither is overly skittish. Minerva is estimated to be a little over a year old and Ginny will be 1 year old in March.

Next up for adoptable gerbils is Spencer! Spencer is a Maizie x Marty pup that I had kept for future breeding. He was born in July of 2022. He was living with his dad who had since passed away, so Spencer is looking for a home who will pair him up with a new friend (or maybe a girlfriend). He's a very sweet boy and deserves the best!

First up for adoptable gerbils is Albus, Neville, and Cedric! These boys came to me as rescues when their owner was sold a mixed s*x trio of gerbils instead of the three males he thought he was getting. Two litters later, the owner was overwhelmed and asked for help. Albus is the dad and Neville and Cedric are his sons. Albus's age is not known, but he's most likely a little over a year old. Neville and Cedric will be 1 year in March. They are a very entertaining bunch! They enjoy digging, chewing, and rolling in sand. They love to eat, and are adorably plump. Albus enjoys being handled while his sons are more skittish. But with how food motivated they are I bet they can be won over pretty quickly. They are currently in a 40 gallon tank and would like their new home to be at least the same size. Please message me if you are interested in this fun bunch!

For anyone wondering why my page has gone quiet, I have made the difficult decision to discontinue breeding. I LOVE raising pups and seeing them off to their new homes, but miss the bond I used to be able to have with my gerbils when I only kept a tank or two. Having 10-20 gerbils is just too many to spend quality time with and give regular out of tank time to. I will miss raising pups for sure, but I know it's for the best.

As such, I am trying to find homes for some of the gerbils I currently have. Some were kept back in hopes of being future breeders and some are from the group of rescues I took in over the summer. I will be posting them over the course of the week in hopes of finding each of them a home where they can be spoiled. So keep your eye out for those posts and message me if interested!

The photo is of Gina, one of Jules daughters, who went to a new home today to be bonded with another single girl so they can both have the companionship they need. Happy life Gina!
