It's officially sweater season! Our campers were looking sharp this morning sporting their favorite sweaters and styles as the temperature drops. As winter approaches, we encourage you to bring your pet a sweater or coat if they don't have an undercoat or thick fur to keep them cozy.

Our Story

Welcome to Mills River Dog Camp!

Our story starts in 2016 when the camp was just an idea for the owner. Over that year, as well as throughout 2017, that idea started to become a realization. In January 2018, we gathered a team of awesome women together and decided it was time to make this a reality!

In the beginning stages, it was a lot of planning but that planning paid off as we started construction in March. After the construction started, everything began to fall into place and things were finally coming together! We are so excited to share our dog camp with our community!

Mills River Dog Camp is a special camp for dogs because we believe in a stress-free, off-leash environment and we see our campers as members of their own unique social club. Our dog camp is small on purpose so that our counselors are able to interact with each individual camper and we can give them the attention they need and deserve! We offer both day camp and lodging services that will leave dogs feeling engaged, enriched, and excited to come back for more fun!
