Since graduating from the University of Delaware in 2012 with a B.S. in Animal Science, it has always been my dream to own a lot of land and A LOT of animals. After marrying my husband Rick in 2018, I realized that I was going to find myself divorced and homeless if I continued to bring four-legged animals home. But he thinks two dogs, ten cats, and two potbelly pigs are enough. I beg to differ. B

ut, we all know what they say about marriage..."compromise is key". So, in early 2019, we started offering our home to our friends as an alternative option for their pets when they would go away on vacation. By doing so, I was able to give all of my love and energy to more animals, and give them back at the end of their stay. Two years later and I am still happily married and still compromising. By the way, I prefer "happy wife, happy life" instead!

We have been struggling with finding good medical insurance for the 3 of us that covers all of our needs including annual laboratory testing. Is there anyone that can help us? We have been talked into insurances that promise things that they don’t deliver on and we are now stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hazard # 324 of owning a dog business: Being an idiot and forgetting to put your hair up before using the dremel to grind nails. Yep! That would be my hair in an impossibly tight knot. And that’s after having already cut out the bottom knot 🤦‍♀️
It’s all fun and games until someone loses their hair! 👩‍🦲😭💇🏼‍♀️

When getting a sibling for your dog turns out to be the best decision you ever made ❤️

Pups love being in packs. Take the plunge if you’re considering a sibling for your fur baby! Doggy daycare is amazing! But having a forever sibling at home with your pup is amazing-er (🤨).
And, if you’re already an existing customer, siblings are always welcome!
