💨 Windy is a 10 month old service dog in training with us!
➡️ Service dogs need to be extremely stable, intelligent, and enjoy working with their handlers.
🐾 Windy's litter was selectively bred for these attributes from health tested, structurally sound parents, and he was one of the puppies chosen based on individual temperament testing for service work.
❤️ Windy went through an in-depth socialization program along with his littermates with us from the day he was born and began basic training concepts at a very young age, and we have built upon his skills as he has aged, and he has passed every test to become a service dog in training.
➡️ Windy will spend the next year out with his trainer working on proofing his skills in a variety of environments and will be matched with a disabled handler and taught tasks to mitigate his new handler's disabilities
🖤 Service dog training is a very involved process because in order to truly be someone's lifeline, a service dog needs to be perfectly trained to perform his tasks in any and every environment
