Another bittersweet day for Doglux as we say “see ya later” to Brytany ! 😕
She has been a wonderful addition to us for almost the last 5 years, and we will miss her so dearly. But, we wish her nothing but the absolute best in her new endeavors 🐾

Goodmorning, there is absolutely NO parking in our front (or back 🫢) lot so please continue to just pull up to the curb for drop off and pickup. 🐾

Hey friends, it’s a hot one!! ☀️ 🔥
PLEASE, If you have an appt with us in the next couple days pull right up to the curb in front of our door for drop off!
The pavement is SCALDING and can/will blister your pups paw pads 🐾
Also please remember to walk your pets early in the morning or after the sun has gone down. Stay hydrated and stay cool! 😎

Happy Independence Day! DogLux will be closed July 3rd-6th in observance.

Remember to make sure all the furry friends are secure and safe and kept cool and have identification. Many dogs escape and go missing every 4th of July due to fear of fireworks- also, we are going straight into severe heat so hydrate and keep those paws off asphalt! And lastly, have a fun and great weekend! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Some recent FAQ answers -
✨ We have had a strange uptick in calls regarding us grooming cats, which we do not groom cats unfortunately.
✨ We also have been asked about our days open and we are open Monday through Saturday starting at 9am until the last appt of the day, which varies. We are not open Sundays. If you are wondering if we’re open on a certain day or time, don’t hesitate to give us a call! 📞

Nail trims and other walk in services will resume as usual on Tuesday January 2nd.

Goodmorning friends!! Important update ✨ -

With the new canine respiratory illness going around, we are taking extra precautions to make sure it is still safe to bring your dog in to be groomed. We are disinfecting in between each dog with highly concentrated spray that is safe for dogs, but kills all viruses and bacteria. Appointment times are very important and we recommend that you do not drop off too early and please pick up as soon as you can after they are ready. We want to limit the exposure to other dogs. As always, we do not allow dogs to interact with each other while they are here and please be mindful if there are dogs in the lobby when you drop off. No nose to nose contact.
Please don’t bring your dog in if they have been showing any signs of sickness. If your dog has an already compromised immune system, you may consider holding off on grooming for now until we know more about this illness. If your dog is fully vaccinated and otherwise healthy, you should have no worries and we would still love to see your dog come in for grooming.

today (17th)and tomorrow (18th) we will be unable to do walk in nail trims.

We will also be closed Thanksgiving and the Friday the 24th for the Holiday.

My son’s friend reached out to us and has to rehome her dog do to other dogs in house not getting along with her (being aggressive towards her). Facts that have been shared with me: 2/3 year old Great Pyrenees/ Anatolian . Female fixed and it’s utd on vaccines. Affectionate and loving. Is looking for a good home. Feel free to dm if interested or if you know a reputable rescue that could help her out. Her owners words on her disposition:
“She gets along with cats and dogs, it just has been with our dog, she gets along with any other dog tho, especially our golden retriever, and our tiny one
She's very friendly and cuddly and thinks she's a lap dog, she's microchipped, she loves the outside but could use some leash training me and my mom aren't strong enough to do that She's great at the vet and weighs 94 pounds last time we took her to the vet She likes to herd our horses”-

she sounds like a really nice dog especially with a little more training.

Missing husky from peaceful valley area (downtown ish) - light colored female with a darker stripe down her back. 5 years old, her name is Luna and she’s wearing a pink harness. Missing since 9:30pm on 9/22

She usually comes home on her own but she hasn’t been spotted today.

Goodmorning friends 🌧️
It’s a beautiful day to smell the rain! As some of you may know the gas station that was in our parking lot is under construction- this means we have very limited parking again. PLEASE feel free to pull up to the curb in front of Doglux to pick up and drop off. Additionally, if your pet is sensitive to loud noises please be aware that they are digging up the concrete at the gas station so it has been pretty loud outside of the salon. Please make sure your pets are leashed with collars appropriately sized so your pet cannot escape. Thank you and we’ll see you soon! 🐾
