✨When one door closes, another one opens✨

I have gotten the great opportunity to shadow under a friend grooming dogs, and it’s not an opportunity I could pass up. Over the past 2 years I have had the pleasure to help dogs and their owners build confidence and positive, long lasting relationships. I am saddened to say that I unfortunately will be permanently removing my board and train services. However I will still be taking on regular boarding dogs, private lesson clients, and other services offered.

• For my BOARDING clients, pick ups & drop offs will be limited to 5pm or later on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays unless discussed otherwise. Tuesdays, Saturdays, Sundays I’ll have pretty open availability.

• For my PRIVATE LESSON clients, we will be limited to doing lessons on Tuesdays and Saturdays moving forward.

I am so thankful for the owners and their dogs who trusted me brought me this far. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Everybody welcome our newest student Kingston! He’s a 5 month old Doberman here for our Puppy Pathway program! Kingston is a fun goofy sweet boy who loves learning but gets easily distracted. I’m super excited to see this boy make progress while he’s here!

Everybody welcome Akasha! She’s a 3 year old Pit Bull/Lab mix here for our 4 week B&T to work on leash manners, reactivity towards dogs, basic commands, and confidence building. She has caught on to our routine pretty quick with only being here a few days. I’m super excited to see all the progress she makes.

Everybody welcome Cooper! He’s a 14 month old Bernedoodle here for our 3 week board & train program. Our main focuses will be his reactivity on leash, neutrality around other dogs, working around distractions, and engagement!

Everybody welcome Ellie! She’s a 5 month old cattle dog here for our 2 week puppy program. We’ll be mainly focusing on confidence building, socialization, and obedience foundations. Once Ellie gets to know you, she is just the sweetest most fun little ball of energy you’ll ever meet. I can’t wait to see the progress this little girl makes over her time with me.

Everybody welcome Kona!! She’s a 1 year old bully breed mix here with us for our advanced program! Kona is a super sweet girl who can become a tad shut down or reactive if she becomes uncomfortable. She’s already been with us for a week and a half and she’s already made so much progress. We’ve been focusing on basic commands, confidence building, leash manners, and some off leash privileges.

Everybody welcome Barkley! He’s a 2.5 year old Old English Bulldog here for our “Beginning The Journey” program. We’ll be focusing on basic obedience, confidence building, and neutrality toward people. Barkley is already settling in nicely and I can wait to see how he progresses over the next few weeks.

Sargent
June 2020- May 2023

In January 2021 I had the pleasure of getting to working with Sargent, a 1.5 year old German Shepherd at the time. He was so sweet and outgoing. And with a little bit of boundaries put in to place, lots of play, and confidence building this guy became one hell of a dog. Unfortunately I’ve recently received news from his favorite person, his owner, that he had passed away from some unfortunate health issues. When you’re dogs spend time with us, we get the privilege of building a relationship with your dog and they become apart of our family like they’re our own.

What a wonderful opportunity it was to be able to work with such an amazing dog. You will forever be missed Sargie Boy.❤️

Everybody welcome Bella! She’s a 2 year old lab here for our Advanced Adventure program! We’ll be focusing on off leash and basic manners. Bella is a super smart girl and already catching on to routine. I can’t wait to see this girls progress over her time with me.

Summer is coming up and so are vacations! While you go on vacation, your dog can spend their’s here with us at OAJ!
From June 1st through June 30th we’re offering boarding for $40/night for the first dog. We do offer multi dog discounts. Boarding is welcome to any breed regardless of whether or not they’ve trained with us. We do not accept human aggressive dogs. Dogs do not have to be crate trained, but we appreciate when they are. Limited space available so book asap!

Look who’s back! Bueller is now 7 months old and back to continue his advanced training with us! We’ll be freshening up his commands he’s already learned with us during the puppy program and working on adding some distance, duration, and distraction as well as strengthening his recall and maybe even working on off leash privileges. I can’t wait to work more with this sweet boy!

Everybody welcome Gus! He’s a 3 year old bully breed mix here for our Beginning The Journey program! We’ll be focusing on basic obedience, recall, neutrality around other dogs, and working on helping the crate become a safe space. Gus is the sweetest boy but we definitely have some confidence building to do, but no matter what I’m super excited to see what progress we can make together over these next 3 weeks.
