Parker is an amazing horse! He is so willing to be a team player for horse camps, merit badge clinics and this summer he got his own therapeutic student ❤️. He can have a lot of fire and "go" but knows when to tone it down and wait patiently at the mounting block for timid kids. He is smart, athletic, intuitive, patient, engaging and just gorgeous! He is "scarred yet beautiful" - he has a scar across the bridge of his nose where he was neglected and a halter left on that permanently rubbed the hair off. It's a reminder to me that even with his unknown past of neglect, he is a shining diamond underneath. Parker was on a journey, just like all of us. He just had to find his way to a loving home to help him become the best horse he can be. And this horse gives 100% all the time. He knows he is finally safe and loved & he gives his heart in return. So thankful that he didn't end up on the slaughter truck! He has blessed me, my staff and so many kids! Happy Gotcha Day Parker aka The Russian Prince (straight Russian purebred )Arabian!

The Santa dress up volunteers break free! The kids had 2 teams, 2 rolls of tp, 2 rolls of red crepe paper and one roll of black paper to create a Santa Claus! Lots of laughs and fun!

Black Friday/ Holly Jolly Horse Camp! We learned horse care and grooming, saddling and riding basics. The kids made a horseshoe ornament and played games like candy cane ride, ornament toss, follow Rudolph and Santa Says, all while learning riding skills. It was cold but the campers ate their sack lunches up in the hay or in the warm tack room and later we had Christmas cookies & then the horses had candy bags for their kids in the stockings on their stalls. What a great kickoff to the holiday season!.

So THANKFUL! My 1st grant! Thank you Wisconsin Horse Council for $3500 for tack & equipment to benefit therapeutic riding, horse camp and other equine activities! I received this about a month ago but saved it to be my THANKSGIVING post ❤️🐴. Looking forward to serving my community & offering lots of horsin' around fun and learning!

At Triple H Ranch I take great care of my horses! Wednesday was dental day for PK & Chewie. Horses teeth erupt their whole lives so every 18 months or so they need a "float". A horse will develop sharp points on their teeth that need to be ground down. They are sedated and a specialized tool, used by a vet, grinds the uneven surfaces of molars. If not done, horses can develop ulcers in their mouth which leads to poor chewing, dropping feed, and losing weight. It also can cause discomfort with the bit in their mouth and they will toss their head while riding or show other signs of irritation. So knowledgeable horse care is a must for these wonderful animals that give so much to their people!

A big shoutout to TINA FOX saddle fitter! (forgot to get a pic of Tina). THANK YOU so much for coming out on Friday to make sure all my horses have well fitting and comfortable saddles! Most people don't realize that when horses have a couple of jobs with multiple sizes of riders, they need saddles that fit them first AND each individual rider. I also have some items to shop for to have a well rounded tack room which means happy horses and well fitted riders like in the picture!

Another Girl Scout Junior Merit Badge Clinic in the books! 8 girls earned their Horsemanship badge and learned all about horses last Sunday! Thanks for coming out from Milton and Beloit! As always a big thank you to the staff and volunteers that make this possible for our community!

Volunteer training, barn cleanup and horse time today! Thank you so much to the amazing adult & teen volunteers who came out today to do barn chores and get ready for the fall season of fun! After we worked we played with horses!...an the indoor arena is coming along great!

Our very own Kaylin - horse camp counselor - performed in the UWRF collegiate rodeo this weekend! She ran barrels, carried a flag, and almost won horseback musical chairs! We are so blessed to have this talented and funny girl be a part of our crew! Now if Reba had just not run off during musical chairs! 😄🐴❤️

Took some of my volunteers out to Dancing Horses today as a thank you for all they do to make Triple H Ranch & Therapeutic Horsemanship a success! We had an amazing summer season and I could not do it without the dedication & hard work of the staff & volunteers! Wish more could have joined us today for this amazing show! We got to enjoy the petting zoo, live show and backstage tour!

OFFICIAL RIBBON CUTTING! Thank you to all who came out from MACC and the volunteers who have helped make this dream a continued reality! For this occasion I wore my dads cuff link necklace and Chloe is holding my moms picture of her as a teen on her horse, Moonbeam. Forever thankful that my parents let me chase my horse dreams & I hope they are very proud of my new adventure! Looking forward to serving the families of Rock County through equine assisted activities, therapeutic riding, lessons, horse camps and more to come!
