Please be aware of your dogs paw pads while walking them in this heat. It's much more humane to find a grassy spot for your pup if possible. Thank you Donna Boelema for this reminder.

I have two pups that are groomed every 5 weeks. I loved my groomer but my Bichon is 14 years old, HATES leaving the house, and is becoming incontinent. So, I decided her having to leave home and being in a crate with no one-to-one care was not ideal and decided to groom her, along with my Yorkie myself. I began researching how to groom them and found that I really liked it. I am an artist and it is such a creative activity that it checked all the boxes for the ideal job for me. So I decided I wanted to do it full time, and thanks to my wonderful community volunteering their pups, I passed all the certification requirements.

Not only have I loved every minute with the pups, but I have met some truly amazing people in the community I would never have met if not for the pups. People that love and take care of their pets are a special breed, and definitely my kind of people! 🐾
